A scenic footpath from Pembroke Beach with an amazing natural playground at the end – ‘real’ rock climbing for all ages.
A beautiful walk from Pembroke Beach on an easy-to follow footpath taking in a Loophole Tower, Fort Le Marchant, German Fortifications and lots of rocks to climb.
Situated on the most northern tip of Guernsey, this beautiful sweeping bay is home to the largest expanse of sand on the island. With crystal clear water, lots of parking, 2 kiosks and a café plus fantastic walks in both directions, it’s a great choice for a family beach day.
We discovered a real gem on the footpath from Pembroke Beach to Fort Pembroke, an amazing natural playground with ‘real’ rock climbing for all ages.
One of our favourite beaches in Guernsey because it’s an absolute stunner. With soft sand, crystal-clear water and thanks to the fact you have to conquer 270 steps to reach it, it’s always quiet! It’s a trek back up from the beach so not suitable for all.
A cold blustery day led us on a search for ‘The Fairy Ring’. We encountered a harbour, WW2 bunker, seals and a fort before we found the fairies.
