Fort Le Marchant is a great place for kids to explore for so many reasons…safe rocks to climb (as in rocks not on the side of a cliff!), windows looking out to sea, a gaol and small stone passages, to name just a few.

Nature Guernsey will lead a walk to La Société’s La Claire Mare and Colin Best Nature Reserves looking for birds, bugs, and butterflies.
The Archaeology section of La Société will conduct historic tours of the Brothers’ cemetery explaining the tomb renovations. The Pollinator Project will give advice on pollinator patches, and will have activities for children.
We love this stunner of a beach on Guernsey’s West coast and at high tide, with the white soft sand and crystal clear water, you could be in the Caribbean! However, the beach changes at low tide with rocks instead of water!
