The Guernsey Tapestry

The Guernsey Tapestry Gallery houses The Bailiwick of Guernsey Millennium Tapestry, a project that involved the whole community. It illustrates 1000 years of local history in ten panels of embroidered canvas work, each panel covering one century.

The Guernsey Tapestry is open Tuesdays and Fridays 11am – 4pm during August with FREE admission for Guernsey residents. Come and see 1,000 years of history depicted in amazing embroidery or test your language skills with the audio guides in French, German and Dutch!
