Fort Hommet Open Day 2022

Festung Guernsey will be opening a number of the bunkers of the Fort Hommet Headland on Saturday 27th August. This self guided trail will include entry by donation to the Personnel Shelter, M19 Automatic Mortar and the Shell Shrine where we will have experts on hand to explain the use of the bunkers and the restoration work we have completed. The 10.5cm restored casemate will also be open by members of the German Occupation Museum (small entry charge will apply). Come and visit if you want to lean more about the WW2 fortifications and how you can get involved with Festung Guernsey. Please park in the lower car park and collect a plan of the headland.
