Aikido is a Japanese martial art that relies on harmonization with an aggressor rather than conflict to defeat an attack. The Guernsey Aikido Club strives to be as genuine as possible in its teaching and operates at the pace of the individual student with the aims being to develop a sound understanding of the principles behind this martial art, with the aim of increasing awareness, coordination and confidence.
