In the heart of St Peter Port, All About Yoga offers yoga classes for children from 4 years old, through to teens and adults. The benefits of yoga for children are widely documented, including boosting self-esteem, learning body awareness and improving concentration, and that’s why All About Yoga’s owner, Megan, is passionate about spreading her love of yoga, and its benefits, to families in Guernsey.
The All About Yoga Studio
The All About Yoga studio is located in St Peter Port, on North Plantation, above Nelio’s Deli, to the side of the Guernsey Tourist Information Centre. As you enter the building and go up the stairs, you are instantly greeted with the loveliest smell (incense) and dimmed lighting, and it has a strong sense of calm. There is an area for people to leave their shoes, and the main studio is head of you.
What All About Yoga Offers...
CHILDREN'S YOGA (4-12yrs)
Chloe Molnar runs 2 children’s yoga classes on Sunday mornings from 10:15am to 11am for 4-7yr olds and 11:15pm to 12:15pm for 8-12yr olds. The classes gives young children the chance to start their yoga journey in a highly engaging, age-appropriate way. Through story-telling and the use of props (for example pompoms and peacock feathers), Chloe cleverly teaches the children how to do yoga postures and breathing exercises whilst having fun. All sessions end with a relaxation section where the children go on a journey through visualisation. With the use of blankets and eye pillows, children learn how to relax and enjoy a period of calm.
Children’s yoga classes are booked each week, with no need to sign up to a block of classes.
BIRTHDAY PARTIES: If you are looking for something a bit different for your child’s next birthday party, Chloe offers children’s yoga parties. This includes a 60-minute yoga session with a theme agreed with the birthday child. For more information, email hello@allaboutyoga.gg
"I have been enjoying yoga for years so I was really happy for my daughter to start yoga at a young age, as I know how healing it can be. My daughter really enjoys these classes and I notice that she is more relaxed after the class. She has noticed changes in her body too, she is more flexible after only a few months of joining this class".

TEEN YOGA
Lydia Newman runs teen yoga classes on a Monday afternoon from 4:30pm to 5:30pm, for all teens who would like to practice yoga in a safe, nurturing environment. Lydia’s sessions include breath-work, physical flows and all end with a relaxing Yoga Nidra or visualisation. Lydia is very passionate about yoga helping to empower young people and speaks a lot in her classes about self-acceptance and affirmations.
Classes are booked in advance, however, teens do not need to sign up to a course of classes, they can just book the classes as they are able to attend.
"I am an over thinker, so I find it nice to have a space for myself where I can get away from everything. I recommend it to anyone who wants help with anxiety as it really helps me. It is also good to get into the physical space in the studio".
