We visited the shrine for the first time a few years ago and my girls really enjoyed it. They were fascinated by the amount of shells on the wall and they enjoyed the shrine eye spy! On the back wall there are pics of sections of the shrine and it was fun trying to spot them within the design. It only takes a few minutes to visit the shrine but it is worth a look. Read our write-up HERE.
Both bunkers will open every Tuesday and Saturday from 30th March until the end of October, weather permitting. Look out for the “Shrine Open” signs on the main road.
