Big Geekend is a two-day celebration of offbeat hobbies, pastimes and collections. Now it’s in 9th year, this weekend is a beloved feature of the Museum calendar.

The eclectic offering this year includes tabletop gaming, fossils, flint, living history and trains. Indulge in your nerdy interests and perhaps discover a new one.

The activities take place 10.00-17.00 and entry is free with your Discovery Pass. Nerdy attire is very welcome, so feel free to dust off your fancy dress or dig out your old band t-shirt.
