Beaches

Bordeaux Beach

Bordeaux Harbour

What was once a busy fishing harbour, is now more commonly used as a beach which is good for swimming and snorkelling at high tide. With excellent facilities and stunning views of Herm and Sark, it’s good for a stop-off, rather than a day at the beach.

GWK Vazon Bay

Vazon Bay

If you and your family are into watersports, then this is the beach for you. A beautiful wide sandy beach with the largest surf on the island, makes Vazon a hotspot for Guernsey’s watersports enthusiasts.

Cobo Bay

One of Guernsey’s most popular beaches, Cobo Bay is the perfect family beach for swimming, sandcastles, beach games and rock pooling. With plenty of amenities close by it’s no wonder it’s a popular choice.

Petit Bot Bay

Petit Bot is a favourite with families and its easy to see why… large expanse of soft white sand, crystal clear water, rocks to climb and a cave to explore. Just remember to check the tide before heading there!

Grandes Rocques (Saline Bay)

If you want to build sand castles, paddle, climb rocks, rock pool, see a German bunker and explore a 16th century battery, then this is the beach for you! With a well stocked beach kiosk and a great fish n chip shop down the road, it’s a great family beach choice.

Pembroke and L’Ancresse Bay

Situated on the most northern tip of Guernsey, this beautiful sweeping bay is home to the largest expanse of sand on the island. With crystal clear water, lots of parking, 2 kiosks and a café plus fantastic walks in both directions, it’s a great choice for a family beach day.

Petit Port

One of our favourite beaches in Guernsey because it’s an absolute stunner. With soft sand, crystal-clear water and thanks to the fact you have to conquer 270 steps to reach it, it’s always quiet! It’s a trek back up from the beach so not suitable for all.
